How have people reached my website lately? Let me count the ways:
was edward ii friends with the pope?
Sure! They sent each other greeting cards all of the time.
king edward ii something nice he done
Well, he made friends with the Pope, didn’t he?
historical novels about the tudors
People actually write historical novels about the Tudors?
history of sir oswald spiffy
I love spiffy history.
sue higgenbotham cpa
Buddy, you are so at the wrong website.
did the woodvilles hate richard iii
Of course not! Everyone loves Richard III.
richard iii susan higginbotham
See? I told you so.
jean plaidy sex
No! No! NO!
how did kings know their protectors were loyal
Well, if they declared you a bastard, it probably wasn’t a really good sign.
le despenser time team
If we’re talking time machines, I would strongly advise not acquiring Gower this time round.
small timelines of edward i
Nothing about Edward Longshanks was small. Including his timelines.
skinny muscular wife whips husband
I really don’t even want to think about this one.
Obviously I’m blogging about the wrong things. My search terms are nowhere near that funny!
Susan, I think you should find a historical, skinny, muscular, husband-whipping wife and write a story about her. There’s got to be one out there somewhere.
Oh god, that last one had me in stitches. Skinny and muscular, and kinky. Isa was a lot of things, but not these. 🙂
I love it when you put these up – I never get funnies like this, just people searching for hanging, drawing and quartering!
‘Le Despenser Time Team’! Now that would be great. You may not know this if you don’t live in the UK, but we have an archaeology program called ‘Time Team’, It has some great characters, but as far as I know one of them are Despensers! And if they were they’d probably be looking for any treasure they’d buried!
:DD That’s funny!!
P.S Just a question: how do you check the keyword-statistics..?
So funny Susan! Loved the last one! And this one –
did the woodvilles hate richard iii
ROTFL!
Thanks, all! Ninon, these are from my website (not my blog), so I check the reports that my server (Tiger Technologies) provides. For Blogger, you can get something called Site Meter that lets you see what searches people use to get to the blog. I don’t check Site Meter that often, though.
OK, I couldn’t resist it.. I got these gems for Booking the Middle Ages:
– informative speeches on medieval castles
which my site is utterly lacking.
– short story book by hawthorne
Sorry, that’s the other guy.
– what would a concert from the middle ages have been like?
Gregorian, I assume. Maybe my bards can advise him.
– characters that lived in the middle ages
Shannon O’Neill was definitely a character…
– there was a website that you can talk to cats wwith
Interesting, but hardly germane. unless they wanted to discuss my book.
– IS THE AGONY AND ECSTASY MOVIE WHO PLOT WAS SET IN THE MIDDLE AGES
WELL, THE RENAISSANCE, NOT TO PUT TOO FINE A POINT ON IT.. BUT IT WAS HARDLY THE ONLY ONE.
